SMS Messaging Terms

Starlight Reservations Systems LLC ("Starlight Reservations") sends transactional SMS messages to guests of campgrounds and RV parks that use our reservation management platform. This page describes how we collect consent, what messages we send, and how to opt out.

How You Opt In

You consent to receive SMS messages from Starlight Reservations in one of the following ways:

Making a reservation — When you complete a campground reservation through the Starlight Reservations platform at app.starlightreservations.com, you provide your mobile phone number and agree to receive transactional messages related to your stay.
Creating a traveler account — When you register for a Starlight Reservations traveler account and provide your mobile phone number, you consent to receive service-related messages.
Seasonal contract enrollment — Long-term guests who sign seasonal contracts through the platform consent to receive contract-related notifications.

Consent is collected at the point where you enter your phone number during one of these processes. SMS consent is not required to make a reservation or use the platform — it is optional.

We never send marketing, promotional, or advertising messages via SMS. All messages are transactional and directly related to your reservation, account, or interactions with a campground property.

What Messages We Send

Messages you may receive include:

Reservation confirmations and reminders
Check-in and check-out instructions
Payment and billing notifications
Site access credentials and gate codes
Activity schedule reminders (e.g., "Poolside Yoga starts in 30 minutes")
Responses from park operators
AI concierge responses to your questions
Waitlist status updates
Seasonal contract updates

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your reservation activity and interactions with campground properties. A typical guest stay may generate 3–8 messages (confirmation, check-in instructions, activity reminders, check-out). You will not receive messages outside of active reservation periods unless you initiate a conversation.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time:

Reply STOP to any message from Starlight Reservations
You will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent
To resume messages, reply START at any time

Opting out of SMS does not affect your reservation or account. You will continue to receive notifications through the app and email.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply. Starlight Reservations does not charge for SMS messages, but your wireless carrier may apply standard messaging rates. Contact your carrier for details about your plan.
